Help with RITA and city taxes

I recently moved to Columbus from Gahanna, and I’ve been having a whole mess with my taxes. At work, I changed my address as soon as I moved, hoping to stay in front of tax issues. They never stopped taking out Gahanna taxes or started taxing out Columbus taxes (even with this week’s paycheck) even after I filled out the form they told me to.

I called Gahanna (RITA) to try to fix the issue, and RITA still has me as living in my college town, Oxford. They said my first step is to file ‘18-‘23 with them. Is this something I need to do? I’ve been using Taxslayer and my employers have been withholding city taxes. I’d find it odd that for 6 years my taxes have been “wrong” to RITA and they wouldn’t come for me for the money. I’m really not sure what to do at this point.

Timeline of where I’ve lived

2018: Lived and worked in Oxford for school (RITA city)

2019-May ‘21: Lived in Perrysburg (non-RITA)

May ‘21 - February ‘23: Lived in Gahanna (RITA city)

February ‘23 - Now: Live in Columbus (non-RITA)
