Deferred salary complaining is unreal

There's so much bitching and whining about the Dodgers and all the players' salaries being deferred and how it's sooo unfair. Boo Hoo! The truth is ANY team can do this. and it's perfectly legal plus many teams, do in fact, have players that defer their salary.

Truth is... the PLAYER has to agree to that deferral. Ohtani wasn't forced to have his salary deferred, nor Freeman, nor Betts etc., they did it because they knew it could potentially bring more quality players to their team, especially Shohei, thus a better chance at a championship.

Juan Soto signed for $765 million dollars. Not $1 -- NOT ONE -- was deferred. Maybe that's why the Dodgers didn't sign him
