Does anyone ever get something I can only call pulsating or painless throbbing?
Feels like the nerves are misfiring but there is no shock-like pain, just like this weird forceful pulsating with pressure. Feels really weird, like my brain going crazy.
BTW, I am in the middle of the worst flare to date, ugh. Bilateral pain in all distributions just switching location and sometimes concentrating on one side all the way from my neck, to the base of my skull, the back of my ears, ears, top of my head and even my temples, it’s even radiating to my jaw. It feels like someone is trying to break my neck or skull. Pressure, pain, burning, pins and needles, shocks, jolts, stabbing. 8/10 pain since I got up. I wish I could have the nerves cut or something :(
I wonder if I gave myself the flare by trying some yoga stretching yesterday but my flares happen every few days anyway. I was told to try stretching as my doctor says it’s from my posture but I find it hard to believe, I think I have some nerve damage or something because exercise or PT does absolutely nothing.
Omg, how I miss my normal head. A year ago I did have some head and neck pressure but that was it, it wasn’t constant. Shortly after it got worse and started happening more often but still it wasn’t debilitating, just really annoying. But it was the beginning of this year that it all went haywire and the occasional pressure turned into almost constant pressure and frequent pain. I cannot tolerate many nerve pain meds due to intolerable side effects, nerve block with steroids is a no go too because of a previous bad reaction. So lost! No idea what to do. I was thinking about ablation but not sure about it but I am just becoming more and more disabled… What has worked for you?
