Wrap adapter suddenly stopped working

So the cable is working fine as I tried it with another adaper. For the last few days my phone has been giving me liquid in debris warning occasionally. I checked all the ports and cleaned them out and there wasn't any liquid in it. Today, the adapter just stopped working. Is there anything I could do or will I have to get the original adapter again?
